Things we have sold today

Some sweets and a bit of ribbon

Lots of cards and wrapping paper

The odd flower or two

A lot of daffodils

Photos by the talented Mr Crush - are you bored of me waxing lyrical about him? Tough, I haven't finished yet.

Also, we have been rediscovering our memories of the parents musical choices through Spotify. Songs you might listen to, but don't want them on your i-pod. How have we lived without listening to Ku Ku Kurama for the last decade or three?

Picture for the delight and delectation of The Other Miss Pickering, do you remember the stereo next to the fireplace?, and the old tape recorder we used to record the charts from the radio?xoxo

Only discovered your blog at the weekend and have spent several enjoyable hours browsing past posts. Can't wait to make a little trip to Stampford sometime (other than for the horse trials, an annual outing) to see your shop in real life.
Golly I hope that doesn't make me sound like a scary stalker, I just want to buy flowers and sweets and vintage jugs.

Yay! I listened to Mr Young last night...oh the memories. I am eternally grateful to Mummy and Daddy for instilling such good musical tastes in me.

Tonight, I will sample the delights of Hall and Oates and remember the days of swinging my little legs in the back of Daddy's Ford Orion.
Also, the time I innocently asked "Daddy, what's a Maneater?"...

Oh how I wish we had a flowr shop like yours locally, I'll just have to come and visit you some day....

I have been trying to find a copy of Flower shop & friends so that I can have a flick through. I know obviously as you're in it, it is a worthy read, should I just go ahead and order it?

I went to see Mr Young in concert only a couple of weeks ago! He came over here to Israel and all the people in the concert hall were of the same...ahem... age! He's older, doesn't sing as well, but it was still great!
