A work in progress

I am struggling with the first of the Christmas windows. I had planned a vintage mercury vase theme, but we sold a lot of that before it went in the window. It is currently an assortment of things, and looks decidedly unfestive. I wouldn't mind, but people keep telling me how they are looking forward to seeing this years display.

I have the idea, I am just failing to translate it. I think I need a tree, everything is better with the inclusion of a tree.
We do however have old glass with tealights.
