You just keep me hanging on

Set me free, why don't you babe
Get out of my life, why don't you babe
'Cause you don't really love me
You just keep me hanging' on

You have to love Kim Wilde for summing up the state of politics at the moment.

You also have to love, the first cut of local scented stocks. Their scent is sailing down St. Paul's Street and like the Pied Piper is bringing customers to my door.
Obviously i am not comparing my customers to rats.

We also have domes of purple hydrangeas wrapped in grey tissue paper, astilbe, hydrangea and otherworldly Kalanchoe plants.

and we are in the new Wedding Flowers magazine.

Quite a good day, which makes up for The Hound being very much under the weather last night, we spent much of the night curled up together watching the election coverage....eating grapes.

My life is all about the glamour.

What do you have planned for the weekend?

Did I tell you I bought Alys's book? Do you have it too? Do the pages in yours smell funny? I had to spray mine with Dior.

So much to catch up on!! Well done for the egg cup, the mystery magazine, the wedding flowers mag, etc etc etc.. Are u sure Mr Cameron isn't about to announce you as PM?!
I'm on the train to York. It's been a very long week considering it's actually been a short one. I have girlfriends, wine, bubbly, Betty's, cocktails and peonies with mock orange to look forward to.....oh, and not forgetting the shoes!! Hope the hound perks up in time for his appearance at No.10 later xxx

Mine smells okay- I bet yours smells better though now it is sprayed. Well done on the magazine and the stocks and hydrangas are wonderful!
I have booked a table at the pub in the village near the cottage for lunch on Sunday- so a lie in bed is in order- a walk through the woods with Cairo and Saffi now that the bluebells are in bloom to end up at the pub for lunch and a glass or two- it's tough but it has to be done... Hope the hound picks up for the weekend
Jxx
PS Keep your fingers crossed that today's viewers of the old house want it for me- that would make it a perfect weekend

Mrs B.
Will you have a Yorkshire curd tart for me? They are my absolute favourites. Have a fabulous time, we must get together soon.

Becca
A courier parked outside the shop first thing this morning and pulled out a huge box, i completely embarrased myself by assuming it was the cereal, it was cleaning products for somebody else. Hopefully next week.
Perhaps it could be a weekend of toast?

Mrs P. Fingers croseed for you.

I'd be scornful of getting excited about cereal but it is the luxury end of the Market.
My plan for this weekend is to buy a good camera. And to watch Britains got Talent

Hi just to let you know that grapes are poisonous to dogs along with raisins, onions and chocolate - oops! Could be why he's feeling under the weather x x x

Thank you for that information, just to let you know that sometimes you have to take this blog with a pinch of salt. He doesn't really drink JD or smoke Marlboro Red either.
