Flowers in the home Monday

The leftovers from the wedding in a jam jar on the kitchen table.
A double primrose on the book case.
A jar of Lily of the Valley on my desk.
A bud vase on the side table.

I am not Elton John.

It seems that The Americans have sweetpeas.

Did you join in?

I borrowed some also. Unfortunately the poppies are popping all over the place and one stem has already broken.

Perhaps I can get some money back when I return them?

We may have sweetpeas, but you have my favorite flower, lily of the valley.

Oh, and I "borrowed" the bulbs in a jar idea also...

My mother always told me there was nothing new under the sun.

Guess I'm proving her right.

xoxo

Miss P - pretty blooms in your house. Love the Lily of the Valley. I know we are looking at the blooms but I do rather like the look of your tablecloth! Sinead

The double primrose is the winner for me although I am rather drawn to the single rose! The lily of the valley is also exquisite, beats my pot of horizontal growing hyacinth any day. Keep trying Mrs T-J! xxx thank you for the red lippy approval Miss P!

swooning too over your lily of the valley and i the tablecloth!! the world is a better place for pretty tablecloths. unfortunately my wee magician whips them away too quickly here. my monday flowers are barricaded in the corner! x

eeek I have started a blog too! Called simply, Mrs T-J! its very simple well I would say crude really in the original sense of the word as I am a total techno-phobe and this is going to be a steep learning curve. Hope you like no clue how you find it or indeed how I do to update it! mmmm first hurdle identified xxx

I love your primrose! Don't have any success growing them here - summers are too hot, I think. Yours are so sweet. Thanks for sharing

Clearly, you don't need to be Elton John.
