There must be something between us

even if it's only the ocean.

This weekend, I intend to wallow in the British Grand Prix and films.

My eye hurts, my vanity has been too much, and i still don't have a parrot and it is going to rain, I'm allowed.

I have complete control of the remote to a fully loaded SkyHD box AND Apple TV.

I intend on making the most of it, starting with An Affair to Remember.

suggestions for films if you will.

Also

Drive like the wind Lewis.

Mame! The Rosalind Russell version. Unless laughing makes your eye hurt.

An American in Paris, just for Leslie Caron's ballet and Georges Guetary singing 'Stairway to Paradise'.

Where is the hound when you need him?

It's very wrong...so very wrong... but Blades of Glory hits the spot for me.

Amelie, with Audrey Tautou. I also liked her in another charming film, Happenstance.

Love the idea of a summer movie weekend. For me it would be Bull Durham, Annie Hall, Tootsie, Chocolat, The Station Agent. Maybe an old Bergman with Liv Ullman.

Sweet little film I could watch over and over again--"Miss Potter". Talented artist waaaaaaay ahead of her time. The British people owe her a debt of gratitude for what she saved for them and their children, and their children's children.

What have you done to your eye Miss P?

Enjoy your sofa loafing, sometimes there really isnt anything better, indulging in comforting treats and a little glass of alcoholic muscle relaxant.

My all time favourite oldie, It's a Wonderful Life, Jimmy Stewart. Love it, got to be in black & white not the remasterd colour version xxx

Funny I was just listening to opera and thinking of how beautiful Cher was in Moonstruck.

Was your weekend all you needed?

Can I get you anything?
