Friday's child is loving and giving

Friday is market day here in Stamford, it's a proper country market. The Hound and I run the gauntlet before we open the shop. This morning some rather energetic play bowing with a border terrier nearly sent an entire veg stall flying, and he tried to goose a guide dog.

This morning there was white sprouting broccoli.

Back at the shop, we have been given the gift of rosemary and black pudding. The black pudding all the way from Stornoway, i know where that is, because i have the maps.

and the child will not be usurped by a girls' world. Even if the flowers have been out of water for 2 days.

The Hound loves it when she comes.........

Brunch of black pudding at mine on Sunday?

have a lovely weekend and enjoy all theses treats you have there!

Crumbled pan fried black pudding with pulled roast pork and apple sauce on a hot crunchy baguette and a few deep fried sage leaves to garnish, go on you know you want to!

....are there scallops to go with the black stuff??...
your market is obviously a much grander affair than our 3 to 5 stalls if you are lucky!!..x
