Would you do anything for me?
Buy a big diamond ring for me?
Would you get down on your knees for me?
Pop that pretty question right now baby

Marina and the Diamonds

I don't know how other florists make bridal bouquets.

I think my approach is "organic"

Sometimes I start grouping before I've even conditioned , just to see what works.

Like writing in pencil before going over in ink.

Also the wonderful artist Anna she of The Hound cards, has made this video. I love seeing other peoples' work spaces, and there are hounds....

Not to be outdone, The Boy Wonder wants to remind you of his video performance.

Have a marvellous weekend, and to our comrades in the rest of the world where it is Mothering Sunday.

Good luck, you can do it, drink coffee, and water, and thanks for sending this weeks flower prices rocketing.

xx

Hello,
I visited your blog today - I saw you on another friends. Your blog is lovely, and your flowers are wonderful. I never get tired of looking at pictures of flowers - they are the magic in our lives. Me and my daughters started a blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would enjoy coming back to visit with you. Your blog is filled with simplicity and beauty. I hope to hear from you, and have a sweet day.

Mums walking out of restaurants with single stem Gerbera wrapped in cellophane. Half dead lilac and yellow xanths in supermarkets for $20 (£13 a yukky bunch) Horrific, what can I do Miss P?

I am feeling the pain!

In other respects Australia is fabulous and we love it xxx

Love the colours of these bouquets. I often start grouping flowers before the prep begins. Then I can start picturing the bouquet in my head and it gets me through the boring parts...
