Love, love is a verb

Love is a doing word
Fearless on my breath
Gentle impulsion
Shakes me, makes me lighter
Fearless on my breath

Teardrop on the fire
Fearless on my breath

Nine night of matter
Black flowers blossom
Fearless on my breath
Black flowers blossom
Fearless on my breath

Almost black, Chocolate cosmos played a starring role. Deep burgundy brown, and delicately scented with chocolate. This weekends wedding.

A wedding for a really lovely couple, i knew they would have an amazing day from first meeting them.

"Not the best time to break your foot, but I'm sure it will be fine on the day" said the bride.

and so the relaxed vibe continued, and the flowers were arranged to a soundtrack of Massive Attack.

and i didn't cry too much when i realised that i had forgotten to photograph of the bridal flowers. Or that it is now always dark when you are prepping a wedding.

but then i knew Bert Palmer was on camera. One shot, says it all.

Whilst some people in the wedding industry are getting their knickers in a twist and endless debates over nonsense, those of us that actually do weddings, are just getting on with doing what we do.

Thank goodness Love is a doing word, to quote the Dalai Lama, there are 2 things in this life that you must do with wanton abandon and that is Love and Cook. Here, here!

Carry on doing what you do because there's no question you do it so very well Miss P. xxx

I love chocolate cosmos, I remember being very excited when I found it and planted up lots in my cottage garden.

Chocolate cosmos are up there amongst my all time faves. Ever. I'm angry I couldn't have them for my bouquet.
